2023 Charity Program – Volunteer Fundraising

Are you looking for activities to fundraise for a 501(c)3?  Fox  Valley Marathon Races has nearly $20,000 available for donations this year.

Spend a hands-on beautiful spring or fall day in Geneva or St Charles, helping implement the Fox Valley Marathon Races in one of the areas below, and we will make a donation to a charity you select. Fill out an application and email it to volunteers@fv26.com.

Aid

Station

Age 12+

  • set up aid and water bottle stations
  • train runners on bottle marking
  • hand out water, Gatorade, ice, bananas, oranges, gels, and water bottles
  • shuttle bottles from drop zone to tables
  • tear down aid and water bottle stations

Loading 

  

Age 14+

  • station truck: bins, cans, cones, signs, G-Ade, Clif, cups, tents, water
  • village truck: cans, tents, signs, banners, cones, truss, medals, G-Ade, cups
  • expo truck: bib bins, shirts, bags, cans, legacy bins, decorations
  • redistribute station truck: bins, cans, cones, signs, G-Ade, Clif, cups, tents

Setup

  • unload trucks, make golf cart deliveries

About the Fox Valley Marathon Races

Combining small race atmosphere with big race amenities, the Fox Valley Marathon, Half Marathon, and Fall Final 20 are ideal for both veterans looking for a fast race, as well as first timers looking for an uncrowded, supportive, family-friendly race setting. Starting and ending in historic downtown St Charles, IL, the course winds through picturesque Geneva, Batavia, North Aurora, and Aurora to a spectacular finish across the Fox River that can be seen from over a mile away. The course offers fantastic viewing spots for families and supporters, as well as frequent and well positioned aid stations that are staffed by the most supportive volunteer teams of any race you’ve run.
